The best relationships come when frequencies align. I believe if you are reading this, there’s a good chance that we’ll work beautifully together–but not a 100% chance.

So, here’s a little bit about me. Welcome to my headspace.

I grew up in an Evangelical household, practicing witchcraft way before I even knew what that meant. I was connecting to God at church, and in front of my makeshift altars at home. 

But all was not Christ’s love and cauldrons, my friend.

A combination of turbulent family dynamics, a deeply flawed public education system, and the Church’s special brand of shame turned me off of spirituality completely in my later teen years. It took years ten years, a divorce, and a summer of psychedelics to get me back to God.

That summer sparked a spiritual awakening in me. In other words, I immediately felt like I was going insane. The understanding I’d formed about the world got demolished. Luckily, I had a shit-ton of helpers–both the physical and ethereal kind–to help me out.

Even with the guidance of Spirit in my corner, I flailed. I sank into the deepest depression I’ve ever experienced. I survived on donating blood and food stamps for a while.

I even joined a cult.

All of these experiences, and many more I haven’t mentioned, taught me one thing: I have everything I need, within me, because I am a magnificent child of God.

And so are you.

You don’t need a guru. You don’t need a leader. You don’t need someone to tell you the answers.

You don’t need me.

And–this is a big AND–we’re not meant to do this alone. Human beings exist to support one another. To carry each other’s burdens when we are strong, and allow there’s to carry ours when we are weak. We learn from each other, teach each other. We hold space for each other.

So, no, you don’t need me. 

But maybe you want me in your corner.

If you do, I want to be there, too.
